The same is true for the word "burrito". Who doesn't like burritos?
I submit to you that the expression "breakfast burrito" commands positive connotations and emotions that amount to much more than the sum of its parts.
Initially created to fulfill requirements for UMHB EDAD 7303. Hopefully to continue far beyond.
I've often pondered that "burro" in Spanish is "donkey." Adding "ito" to the end of a word means "little." So, a burrito is a "little donkey." A breakfast burrito is a little donkey that breaks your fast. How much more positive could it be?

ReplyDeleteTruly, what is left to say after that? I must say Mr. Hartley that I am diggin' your blog!
